Our Story Building Cornerstone

Cornerstone Coffee began with a simple but costly “yes.” With no coffee or business experience, we followed God’s call during 2020—leaving behind comfort, selling our home, and stepping into an abandoned downtown building with a vision to create something more than a coffee shop.

After months of hard work, we opened our doors in 2021, but quickly learned that building a space is one thing—bringing it to life is another. What grew slowly, one relationship at a time, became a place centered on people, not just coffee.

Today, 5 years later, we’re still here—rooted in faith, committed to our city, and building something that’s bigger than us: a place where community gathers, feels at home, and finds hope.
